Allevyn Ag Adhesive is indicated for exudate absorption and the management of partial to full thickness wounds. Some typical wounds are: Ulcers (venous, arterial, and diabetic), Pressure Sores, Donor Sites, Surgical Incisions, Surgical Excisions and Burns (1st and 2nd degree). Creation and maintenance of a moist wound environment. Provides physical separation between the wound and external environments to assist in preventing bacterial contamination of the wound.

Where required, wound cleansing should be performed according to local clinical protocol.
- Choose a dressing that is larger than the wound.
- Prepare the skin surrounding the wound by removing excess moisture. Any excess hair should be clipped to ensure close approximation to the wound.
- Remove Allevyn Ag Adhesive from the pack using an aseptic technique.
- Start to remove the protector material from Allevyn Ag Adhesive and anchor the dressing.
- Smooth the dressing over the wound, removing the remaining protector material.
- Allevyn Ag Adhesive can be cut, especially to dress heels, elbows and other awkward areas.
